Artist bio:
Søren Torpegaard Lund was born in Gudme, Denmark.
Søren started his career as an artist by attending the national theater school Den Danske Scenekunstkole where, at 17 years old, he was the youngest student.
After acting in numerous musicals and theater shows, in 2023 he took part in the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix with the song “Lige her”, his first single.
The following year he released the EP titled “Øjesten”.
In 2026 he participated for the second time in Denmark’s national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Før vi går hjem”.
Even though he wasn’t among the favorites in the predictions, Søren won the festival and represented Denmark at the Eurovision in Vienna where he finished in seventh place.
“Før vi går hjem” also won the Marcel Bezençon Award for the Best Composition.
In 2027 he will return to theater in the role of Orpheus in the musical “Hadestown”.
