Artist bio:
Eleni Foureira, real name Entela Fureraj, was born in Fier, Albania.
Eleni started her career as a member of the band Mystique in 2007.
In 2009 the band broke up and Eleni signed her first record deal releasing her first self-titled album the following year.
After releasing three more albums, Eleni was chosen by Cypriot TV to represent them at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 where she finished in second place with Fuego. It’s Cyprus’s best result since their debut in the contest in 1981.
During Eurovision she was also awarded with the Marcel Bezençon Artistic Award.
She also took part in Eurovision 2019 and 2024 but as a guest.
In 2024 her album Poli_Ploki was certified diamond making her the first female artist in Greece to reach this award. Eleni is among the most streamed female artists in her country.
In total she has released 6 albums and all of them have reached the top 7 bestsellers in Greece.
Eleni has already represented OGAE Greece in 2018 while in 2013, 2014, 2019 and 2021 she represented the club in the OGAE Video Contest.
