Artist bio:
Agnes Emilia Carlsson was born in Vänersborg, Sweden.
She rose to fame as the winner of the swedish talent show Idol 2005.
In the same year, Agnes releases her first self-titled album which reaches the top spot on the sales chart. The same fate befalls her first single titled “Right here, right now (My heart belongs to you)”.
In 2009 her singles “On and on” and “Release me” became international hits reaching the charts in many countries such as UK, Germany, Belgium, France, Italy, Australia and many others.
So far Agnes has released seven albums, all of which have reached the top 10 on the Swedish sales chart.
Agnes took part in Melodifestivalen 2009 with the song “Love love love”, reaching the grand final, and appeared among the singers of Swedish Pop Voices, one of the interval acts of the second semi-final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 in Malmö.
Agnes has already represented OGAE Sweden by winning the OGAE Video Contest 2020.
