Why should I join OGAE Italy?
Joining OGAE – whether OGAE Italy or another club – allows members to connect with other Eurovision Song Contest fans through our Facebook, WhatsApp, and Instagram channels, as well as at live meetings. Membership also gives you access to discounts on official Eurovision merchandise and certain events organized by OGAE.
Additionally, members can participate in OGAE contests (such as the OGAE Poll, OGAE Second Chance Contest, and OGAE Song Contest) and, most importantly, gain access to the fan club ticket pre-sale for the Eurovision Song Contest.
How do I join OGAE Italy?
To enrol, send the completed and signed application form, privacy policy, and statute, along with a readable copy or photo of a valid identity document, to vice_president@ogae.it.
After approval by the board of directors, you will need to pay the annual membership fee to finalize your registration. All required forms can be downloaded from the “Become a member” page on this website.
Can I join more than one OGAE club?
Yes, there is no limit to the number of clubs you can join. However, you must choose one club as your parent club. Only through this club will you receive your OGAE International membership card and be eligible to request ticket packages for the Eurovision Song Contest.
If I join multiple OGAE clubs, can I request tickets through all of them?
No. Ticket packages can only be requested through your parent club.
If I join OGAE, will I automatically get tickets for Eurovision?
Not automatically. Each year, the EBU allocates a limited number of ticket packages to OGAE International, which are then distributed among clubs based on their size. If demand exceeds availability, each club applies its own selection process to determine who receives tickets.
How much does it cost to join OGAE Italy?
The annual membership fee is €25.
Can I request ticket packages for family and friends?
No. All applicants must be OGAE members. However, if family or friends are also members, you can request adjacent seats so you can enjoy the show together.
Can I resell or transfer my OGAE ticket package?
Packages are personalized. You must present your OGAE International card at the venue entrance. Transfers to other OGAE members are possible but require advance notice and approval. Individual tickets cannot be sold or transferred outside OGAE.
Do OGAE members get discounts on Eurovision tickets?
No. OGAE packages are sold at the same price as regular tickets but guarantee seats for all three shows and allow early purchase.
What types of OGAE ticket packages exist and how much do they cost?
There are three types of packages, each including three tickets:
- Family Shows: Afternoon shows on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (€200–€350 approx.)
- Jury Shows: Evening shows on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday (€400–€650 approx.)
- Live Shows: Evening live broadcasts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday (€650–€900 approx.)
Prices depend on seat category.
When are OGAE ticket packages on sale?
Usually between November and December.
Is attending the meetings mandatory?
No. Meetings are optional but are great opportunities to socialize and enjoy activities –such as city touring and games, where the winners will be awarded with meet-and-greets with the Eurovision artists.
Can I meet Eurovision singers through OGAE?
Yes! At our annual meeting in October, we invite at least one Eurovision artist for a meet & greet. Members may also represent the club at Eurovision pre-parties, subject to board approval.
Can minors join OGAE Italy?
Yes, if at least one parent joins at the same time. Minors can attend meetings only with a parent or responsible adult. To receive an OGAE International card, members must be at least 16 years old.
Do I need to be Italian to join OGAE Italy?
No. Italian citizenship is not required, but you must meet at least one condition listed on the application form (e.g., residency in Italy, ties to Italian culture, etc.).
How can I propose a collaboration with OGAE Italy?
Contact any board member via the emails listed on the “Contact” page. If unsure, email the president or vice president.
Can I attend a meeting if I’m not an OGAE Italy member?
Yes! Non-members are welcome but must register and pay a participation fee, which may be higher than for members. If you plan to attend regularly, membership is recommended.
