OGAE

OGAE, the Organisation Générale des Amateurs de l’Eurovision, is a network of official fan clubs of the Eurovision Song Contest. It was founded in 1984 in Finland.  Today, it brings together 44 clubs worldwide. Each club is autonomous, but they all share a single goal: to live and spread the passion for Eurovision.

You can find more information about OGAE here.

The network regularly collaborates with the EBU (European Broadcasting Union) and the national broadcasters of participating countries to enhance the fan experience, promote music, and offer content and initiatives that go beyond the contest night.**

OGAE Italy

Founded in 1990 by Federico Stufi, OGAE Italy is the official club for Eurovision fans. Over the years, it has faced battles, challenges, rebirths, and evolutions that make it a vibrant and dynamic reality.

Highlights. Historical and symbolic moments

  • The ’90s: The club mobilized against Italy’s withdrawal from Eurovision, organizing meetings, petitions, and campaigns directed at RAI.
  • 2011: After nearly two decades of absence, Italy returned to the contest—a milestone that rekindled enthusiasm and support.
  • From 2012 onwards: The statute was formalized, and the club’s activities grew: local and national events, interviews, collaborations, awards, fan-based initiatives, and special content dedicated to Italian music and Eurovision competitors.
  • 2020-2024: Digitization brought new initiatives: online meetings, press collaborations with “An Entry for San Marino,” remote interviews with artists, jury participation, and partnerships with LGBTQ+ events such as the Eurovision Drag Contest.
  • 2024: OGAE Italy participated in cultural events with the Embassy of Sweden and became an official partner of Turin’s viewing party.
